The Chamber has had many questions about Oil Heritage Festival, to be held July 23 – 26. Chamber President Susan Williams relays the following message:

“The Annual Oil Heritage Festival will go on, but most certainly will be different this year. We are looking at every aspect of the celebration and evaluating what can continue with little change, what will likely be impossible to do (considering social distance) and what can be modified, to allow for a safe and festive event. It’s important to consider the investment of time and money, as well as how nimble the details are, allowing for necessary changes right up until the event.”

Many businesses have already committed sponsorships and community organizations have expressed interest in participating, at the appropriate safe level. Specific questions can be directed to Susan. As July approaches, updates on the Chamber’s website at oilheritagefestival.com is the best way to find out what is being planned.
