Kyla Parkinson is the Owner and Certified Picture Framer at Victorian City Art & Frame in Franklin, and joined the Venango Chamber Board in 2023.

Originally from Winthrop, Illinois, Kyla now lives on Oil City’s South Side. In addition to her business and work with the Chamber, Kyla also lends a hand to organizations and events like the Franklin Retail Association, Franklin Fine Arts Council, and the Nature Art Showcase and Oil Heritage Festival Art Show.

Kyla’s profession in framing includes designing custom frames for her clients to showcase their prized possessions. At Victorian City Art & Frame, they build everything in house, as well as displaying and selling other artist’s work in their gallery.

Kyla’s hobbies include fly-fishing and hiking all over western PA, as well as mountain biking on the trails or pulling her 2 year old in the trailer around town.

When asked why she decided to serve on the Chamber board, Kyla said: “I’m excited to be working alongside people who see the beauty in our area and want to see it thrive. Being an artist’s community, I know my current profession can greatly support others who are trying to thrive here.”
