FUN Bank Employees Give Back

There is more to being a hometown bank than just having convenient locations in the local communities you serve. It’s about investing back into the people, businesses and organizations that serve and help improve the quality of life of others.

For employees of The FUN Bank, donating is more than just giving back; it’s about taking care of their neighbors. The FUN Bank has six locations in Clarion and Venango counties so they truly are neighbors serving neighbors.

Each Friday, employees can dress down from their professional attire to comfy sneakers and jeans. They make monthly donations to the “Dress Down & Donate” campaign to participate. Charities and organizations that receive donations from The FUN Bank are designated at the beginning of each year and employees are encouraged to give their own suggestions.

Some employees of The FUN Bank have personally been humbled by the help of others when going through difficult times in their lives, so they truly understand the importance of giving back.

On average, funds from their Dress Down & Donate campaign amount to $300 per month. When possible, these donations are presented in person by a bank officer to the designated charity or organization.

The FUN Bank enjoys sharing in this presentation as it gives the officer the opportunity to genuinely thank the representative for all of the good deeds they do to give back to others.

The FUN Bank shares a picture of each donation to help raise awareness for the charity or organization they are donating to. They also share these organizations to encourage others to donate or inform people who may be in need of their services.

The First United National Bank is a nationally chartered, FDICinsured, independently owned community bank that operates full -service branches in Fryburg, Oil City, New Bethlehem, Franklin, Clarion and Cranberry.
