VenangoREADY Event Scheduled for April 13

The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting our second annual VenangoREADY Educator Event on April 13 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Klapec Warehouse in Reno.

One of the main goals of our VenangoREADY program is to help connect educators and employers to provide students with meaningful career experiences and information about opportunities available to them here in the Venango region.

The event is open-house style for all area educators (teachers, counselors, administrators, etc.) with employers set up at tables like a career fair. Our goal is for teachers and other school staff to learn about the many opportunities here in the Venango Area. We’re inviting educators from A-C Valley, Christian Life Academy, Cranberry, Forest, Franklin, Oil City, Titusville, Valley Grove, Venango Catholic, and the Venango Technology Center.

Ways your business can participate:
• Attend the event, setting up a table to showcase your business and the opportunities available.
• This event is free for Venango Chamber member businesses to attend. There is a $50 table
fee for non-member businesses.
• Donate branded material for the swag table such as pens, mugs, post-it notes, etc.
• Teachers get to pick out what they like, so it can be odd amounts of any items but suggested
50-100.
• Donate a larger swag item or gift basket for the prize drawings for teachers.

Employers – if you’re interested in participating, please contact Kat at kthompson@venangochamber.org or (814) 676-8521.
