Venango County Launches Acceptance 365

Venango County Human Services has created a new anti-stigma group called Acceptance 365. They plan to officially launch on March 1.

The mission of the program is to minimize stigma, exclusion, and social bias by instilling hope, providing knowledge, and promoting self-advocacy in our community. They plan to provide resources to businesses on promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with a vision that all Venango County residents will live in a community that provides opportunities and promotes growth, health, and happiness.

The program is asking businesses to take the member pledge and display a window cling (pictured above) at their business. This signifies their membership and intention to do things like diversity training, celebrating uniqueness, and being an ally for the community.
