The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Kat Thompson, Membership and education Manager, has recently joined two esteemed boards, marking significant milestones in her professional journey. Kat now serves on the Board of Trustees for the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) and the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals (PACP).
Kat’s appointment to the NPRC Board of Trustees highlights her dedication to advancing accessible education in Northern Pennsylvania. NPRC plays a crucial role in providing affordable and flexible educational opportunities to students in the region. Kat’s insights as a community leader will undoubtedly strengthen NPRC’s mission of fostering educational growth and workforce development.
Additionally, Kat has been named to the PACP Board of Directors, where she will serve alongside chamber professionals from across the state. Beginning her first official term in January 2025 (she served as an appointee in 2024), she will contribute to PACP’s mission of enhancing chamber management and professional development throughout Pennsylvania. Her leadership role will involve helping to shape the association’s annual Plan of Action, which includes statewide events like Chamber Day in Harrisburg and professional development conferences.
Kat’s dual appointments reflect her unwavering commitment to supporting both local and statewide initiatives that drive community and economic growth, with the goal of strengthening our local region.
