VCAB Purchases New Van

The Venango County Association for the Blind averages approximately 26,000 miles a year taking people from Clarion, Venango, and Forest counties to medical appointments, social service appointments, pharmacies, delivering grocery items, and more. Thanks to their supporters, they were able to purchase a new 2022 Chrysler Voyager from Mobility Works in Monroeville.

“Approximately 34% of the individuals that utilize our specialized transportation service are mobility impaired, and this van has enabled us to provide much needed transportation for those clients,” says executive director Krysta Carson.

Krysta continues, “We are so appreciative of everyone who made this purchase possible. Thank you to all of our supporters, board of directors and employees for making a difference.”
