United Way’s Round Up Program Launches

Sander’s Markets in downtown Franklin will be holding a Round Up program for the United Way of Venango County from June 13th – July 17th. During this time when a customer rounds up their purchase total the proceeds will benefit United Way’s Annual Campaign.

The Campaign provides funding to 15 Community Partners throughout 23 Community Programs as well as United Way’s 8 internal programs. All funded programs are used in the areas of health, education, and income – which United Way believes to be the building blocks to a financially stable and healthy lifestyle. Be on the lookout over the next few months as United Way’s Round Up Program travels through Venango County. Businesses’ small and large will be holding the program to help residents right here in our community.

Adding It Up:
• 50 people at $.25 provides a student with a safe after school program.
• 50 people at $.75 provides a family with enough food for a week.
• 100 people at $.99 provides an under insured individual with a dental cleaning.

United Way will be looking for businesses to participate in this program. If you are interested, or would like to hear more, please call (814) 676-6545 or email liveunited@uwvenango.org.
