The Oil Region Library Association (ORLA) will be hosting the first Oil Region Festival of the Book on Saturday, August 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will be held in the Central Avenue Plaza in Oil City, right outside the Oil City Library.

The Oil Region Festival of the Book will provide an opportunity for community outreach to local published authors. Participating authors will be provided space at the festival to engage with our community and to share and sell their works. Authors will provide their own table/blanket/tent/pop-up/etc. to display their works in their assigned space.

Authors interested in participating must complete an application form for consideration by contacting ORLA at fotb@oilregionlibraries.org.

If selected, you will be contacted to complete the registration process, which includes a $10 non-refundable participation fee and a donated copy of your work to the library.
