Zoe Oakes is the Branch Manager of the Franklin Library, part of the Oil Region Library Association.

A graduate of Rocky Grove High School, she grew up in Cooperstown and earned her Associate of Science Radiological Sciences from Gannon University and Specialized Diploma in Library Technical Assistant from Northampton Community College.

Zoe and her husband of seven years are the parents of two boys. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading and building Legos with her sons.

Professionally, she has continued to work on upgrading the resources of Franklin Public Library and describes her work as her “dream job.” She takes great pride in knowing her community and recognizing library patrons by name.

Zoe is also a participant in the 2021 Class of Leadership Venango.
