Jennifer Feehan serves as the Economic Development Manager for the Northwest Commission in Oil City.
At the Northwest Commission, she works closely with businesses and community partners from all throughout our region, assisting with various economic development initiatives.
“What I enjoy most about working in this area, is the ability to serve those in our communities with genuine support so the impact they make is made even greater.” she said. “I get to play a part in strengthening our base and growing our ideas into fruition, and that is pretty awesome.”
A native of Franklin, Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Penn State in Art History and participated in archeological digs in Egypt and Israel between 2007 and 2010. Jen worked at the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State for 12 years before returning to Venango County in 2018.
Jennifer and her husband Jerry purchased their first house in President Township in 2020, where they live with their son, Brecht, and their daughter, Charlie.
In her free time, she enjoys any chance to get outside riding bikes or floating down the river, especially if it includes a stop at a local brewery after. She and her husband Jerry also build industrial-style lamps that feature antique parts.
Jennifer is in the current Leadership Venango Class of 2021 and values the opportunity to work towards building a better community, by working with partners in the region. She is also a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Venus and serves on the board of directors for the Oil Region Alliance.
