At the June meeting of the Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission (Northwest Commission) Board of Directors, Lawrence County Commissioner Dan Vogler was elected Chairman of the Board. Effective July 1, Vogler succeeds Albert “Chip” Abramovic, Venango County Commissioner, who has served in the role for the past two years.

”Commissioner Vogler is a champion for Lawrence County and the Northwest Region. His leadership, insights and energy will be great assets to the Northwest Commission. The upcoming Chairman’s tenure on the board began just before the pandemic and his input and guidance were invaluable to serving our eightcounty region,” said Jill Foys, Executive Director, Northwest Commission.
