Local Author to Hold Book Signing at YWCA

91-XHe114TLInspired by her childhood spent along the Allegheny River, Gina Burris has completed her most recent book, a children’s book titled “Tallulah’s Diner”. Published by Fulton Books, Burris’s story welcomes the reader to the underwater river world of Tallulah; a turtle who works tirelessly to run an aquatic diner and raise her family.

She shares, “When my son was young, my love of all things river dominated the fantasy stories I would make up and share with him. Now that my son is grown, I am taking a leap of faith and sharing the Turtle Family adventure I first told more than fifteen years ago.”00100dPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20180916181023854_COVER

The Oil City YWCA will host a book signing for Burris on Saturday, October 13th from 11 AM to 1 PM, where books will be available to purchase. She will be joined by illustrator of the book, Rabecca Signoriello. If you are unable to make it but still want to add the local author’s story to your library, it is available for purchase at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
