After years of visioning a chamber driven Leadership program, it is hard to believe we’ve now completed our fifth year and have graduated 63 participants, all committed to creating a better future for Venango County.
Along with the graduates, Susan and Tessa have completed five years of sessions and share that the learning continues with each new class. Susan remarks, “Leadership is a journey that continues to reward and challenge. When we launched Leadership Venango, we could not have imagined navigating a pandemic. Along with moving our classes to Zoom, we found an abundance of new leadership topics and perspectives to share with the classes of 2020 and 2021. We have been very pleased with the diversity of businesses represented each year and the many communities represented, some even from outside of Venango County.”
For those who are considering joining one of the next classes, Tessa encourages them to contact her or any alumni, to get a better idea of what to expect from the classes. While there is a very solid agenda and list of presenters, there may be slight adjustments each year, in reaction to schedules. And there is always consideration of adding new topics, tours, and presentations.
