Great Eatin’ at the Festival


The Cranberry Festival will offer festival-goers of all ages a chance to sample great cuisine by local vendors, caterers, and non-profits.

The festival fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Wednesday, September 16th from 5-7pm at the Christian Life Academy Cafeteria. The dinner will include spaghetti and meatballs, fresh salad, rolls, beverages, and dessert. The cost for adults is $6.50, children ages 4 thru 10 $3.00; and children under 4 are free.

All Spaghetti Dinner attendees are admitted free into the Cranberry Festival King & Queen Talent and Crowning Ceremony, held in the Christian Life Academy Auditorium, from 7-8:30pm. What could be better than dinner and a show for two under $15? The King & Queen Crowning features high school juniors from Cranberry, Oil City, Franklin, and Valley Grove High Schools.

On Friday, September 18th, be sure to stop by Christian Life Academy for the Edward Jones Ice Cream Social, from 6-8:30pm. Ice Cream will be served for 50 cents per scoop and per topping and 50 cents for beverages. While you’re enjoying your ice cream you can browse through the beautiful artwork at the Annual Art Show & Exhibit held in the gymnasium, as well as a presentation by local photographer Michael Henderson titled “Digital Revolution”.

Festival Day”, Saturday, September 19th, you can begin the day at Christian Life Academy for their Annual Country Breakfast Buffet, from 8am until 11am. The buffet features great breakfast items such as country biscuits and gravy, sausage, pancakes, eggs, and much more. The cost for adults is $6.50, children ages 4-10 is $3.50, and 3 and under are free.

In Morrison Park, from 10am until 7pm, the festival will offer crowds the opportunity to enjoy delicious fair foods including hot sausage, steak sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, popcorn, fudge, French fries, and sweet potato fries, among many other festival favorites!
