Five years ago, in January 2017, the Be Here initiative was launched! Since then, the Chamber has trained more than 80 Ambassadors, created a job board and calendar on our website, given presentations to students and community groups, held multiple workshops and community conversations, continued to tell stories of the wonderful people and places of Venango County, and much more. We celebrated at a party at Trails to Ales II at the end of last month with community partners and those who were featured in the new Be Here video, which was premiered at the event.

“This video shows us what we all feel about our region. It’s often hard to put into words, or we don’t always recognize it in our day-to-day lives—the sense of community, hard working, creative and kind people, beauty, history, and quality of life,” said Program Manager Ashley Sheffer. “This is our message of Be Here since the very beginning. This IS such an amazing place to live, work, and play.”
