Tell us about your business.
7 Foot Productions & Marketing, based in Oil City, provides professional videography, photography, website development, and marketing services. Our focus is providing high quality, engaging and creative content to attract new customers while captivating existing ones.
Why did you start this business?
The decision to start my own business began during my senior year of college at the onset of the pandemic. We were sent home to finish our educations and due to my background and knowledge in technology and digital media, this transition was much easier for me. Upon returning home, I saw this was not the case for everyone in my community (e.g. individuals, schools, businesses, and organizations). Due to this, I decided to take action and provide local businesses help in adapting to the new digital era that they had been accelerated into.
What is your favorite part of owning a business?
Getting to do what I enjoy! I love being able to take initiative, explore new ideas, and problem solve. It is rewarding to turn ideas into reality and watching them making a difference for our customers.
What do you love most about working in Venango County?
I was born and raised here and have fallen in love with the beauty of our surroundings. For a small area we have so much to offer already and the potential for future growth is limitless.
What is your favorite part of working within your own personal business?
My favorite part is being able to invest in our area. Local businesses are a critical part of our community. When they have access to new and powerful resources it enhances their reach and engagement, which in turn, helps grow the local economy, changing lives through new opportunity, and fostering pride in our area.
What kind of services do you offer?
We offer a range of services that create a holistic digital marketing strategy including videography and photography services, 3D interactive virtual tours, social media marketing and website development.
