Lisa Groner began working at Computer Showcase in 1983 as a part-time computer salesperson, not knowing it was the beginning of a now 40-year relationship. When she started, she sold her first computer, an Epson QX-10 for $2,995.00, in a time she calls the “local start of PC world in Venango County”.
The technology world has seen quite a few changes since Lisa’s time selling Epson and Kypro computers. Computer Showcase saw the early days of the internet and its tremendous growth in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Lisa says she hasn’t seen it all, but she has seen quite a few significant changes and advancements in technology throughout her 40-year tenure.
Upon graduating from college, Lisa accepted a full-time position with the company, working her way up to Store Manager, then General Manager, and then in 2005, she purchased the business. In 2009, she bought the former Brother Bean Coffee Shop building, remodeled the space and it became the new home of the company, located at 2803 State Route 257 in Seneca. The new location also brought a new name to the business, CS Technologies Plus.
Lisa has also immersed herself in the community, serving on various boards and committees, and bringing the Cranberry Festival back to life in 2002! She is also the proud mother of four and has been married to her husband, John, for 37 years.
CS Technologies Plus employs qualified computer specialists, certified trainers, and authorized service personnel. Their services include computer sales, computer service, internet service provider, training, video surveillance, VoIP phone solutions, and more.
