Venango Training & Development Center, Inc. (VTDC) welcomes Kevin Wingard as their new Production Operations Director. Starting on June 6th, Kevin hit the ground running. He will tell you his greatest accomplishment was completing 21 years Active Duty in the U.S. Army and traveling the world. During his time in the Army, he lived in Hawaii, Germany, Alaska, Mississippi, Kansas, Texas, California, and New Jersey. He retired from the service after working in construction operations in a Senior Level Management position.

A Clarion native, he returned to the area and comes to VTDC with over 10 years working in industry as an operations manager in a hospital, an administrator for pallet manufacturing, production supervisor for two plastics manufacturing companies, safety director, and a quality control and materials coordinator. In addition, Kevin worked one year in social services at a County Assistance Office as an income maintenance caseworker.

Kevin has a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. Kevin is the father of four grown children, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, kayaking, hiking, traveling, and working in his wood shop.
