Rachel Stine, who joined full-time in April, has shown exceptional skills in framing. She has taken charge of organizing and displaying artists’ works in the gallery. Rachel has also mastered the use of the CMC (computer automated mat cutter) and lacing needlework techniques, as well as managing the store’s social media accounts. In addition to her role at Victorian Art & Frame, Rachel is a talented textile and fiber artist who runs her own company, Querida Designs. With her extensive international studies and keen attention to detail, Rachel excels in custom framing and enjoys helping customers bring their artistic visions to life. She played a crucial role in starting up the Oil City location and continues to assist there as needed.
In the past few months, the Oil City location has successfully established a fully functional workshop. They have installed a heavy-duty double-miter chopper and a wall cutter that can precisely cut glass, foam, and matboards. The store now keeps the three most popular types of glass and foamboards in stock, and they can also order mats as needed. Additionally, they have a wide range of off-cuts available for smaller projects. All the necessary supplies for picture framing, including dust covers, wire, hooks, and bumpons, are readily available for customers.
