The Franklin Fine Arts Council will sponsor the 11th Annual Taste of Talent Vocal Competition this summer at Bandstand Park in Downtown Franklin. The competition is open to individual soloists ages 16 and up. Registration packets must be submitted by May 12.

Competitions will be held on Wednesdays, June 30 through July 28 at 7 p.m. Semi-finals will take place on Saturday, August 7 at 7 p.m. and finals will be held Sunday, August 8 at 4 p.m. immediately following Taste of Franklin.

The winner of the competition will receive $1,000. Prize monies totaling $200 ($100 cash and $100 in Franklin Retail Gift Certificates) will be awarded to the 3 semifinalists. The Taste of Talent competition is one of the area’s favorite summer events.
