Would your business hire someone directly out of high school? Would you like the opportunity to meet a potential workforce in one day?
The virtual Student Employment Event (SEE) is set for Tuesday, May 11, with two blocks of time wherein they are asking employers to be “live”: 9:30 -11 a.m. and 12:30 – 2 p.m. The goal is to match organizations and businesses with a need to hire with high school seniors preparing to enter the workforce from six local high schools. Also invited are 11th grade Vo-Tech students looking for co-op opportunities.
Heather Friedline and Nickie Irwin from CareerLink are setting up the employer portion of the event and managing the online platform. They will contact those registered to help set up your virtual booth.
