Rodney Beck has been appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer of Family Service & Children’s Aid Society (FSCAS) of Venango County.
While he is the first to hold the CEO title, Beck follows in the footsteps of past leaders like Mary K. Serafin and Bob Carone, who were known for their dedication and professionalism in social services. Beck is committed to upholding their legacy and maintaining the high standards FSCAS has set since its founding in 1887.
As a long-time resident and former business owner in Oil City, Beck has always recognized the organization’s deep ties to the community. He recalls the pride of a friend who began his career at FSCAS, which reinforced Beck’s belief that this role was a rare and significant opportunity. Now, several months into his position, Beck is fully immersed in learning the operations, policies, and people that have made FSCAS a pillar of support in the region.
Beck’s extensive background includes roles as a Mobile Therapist and Behavior Specialist Consultant at Paoletta Counseling, as well as owning and operating 14 businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Clarion University, completed the British Petroleum Management School, and earned a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Science from Clarion University.
With a strong commitment to continuing FSCAS’s tradition of compassion and care, Beck looks forward to leading the organization and building on its legacy of service to the community.
Congratulations, Rodney!
