As this year’s Oil Heritage Festival approaches, there is much work going on behind the scenes.  Chamber staff and volunteers continue to take registrations, answer phone calls, distribute information and prepare for a week of great fun!  There is another great project that is new to this year’s festival.  Artists young and old, professional and amateur, are creating small pieces of art to share. You are invited to join in the fun. Just find a rock that inspires you and paint your own masterpiece.  Then leave it somewhere that someone can find it, knowing that you are likely to bring a smile! What if you find someone’s rock?  You can leave it in place for others to see or move it to another public spot to provide a new perspective.
