The Regional Counseling Center (RCC) wants to spread the word about their Hoarding Recovery and Maintenance program (HRMP), a unique program to the state of Pennsylvania.

Shannon Neal and Kristie Ziegler developed the program, which consists of a Mental Health Therapist and a Hoarding Specialist. It is a team delivered service, currently run by Kristie Ziegler, the Licensed Mental Health Therapist, and Becky Flockerzi, the Hoarding Specialist.

HRMP processes the issues behind the hoarding, teaches skills on how to manage it, offers extensive support, works on all areas of a person’s life, and assists with clean outs. It is an intensive program and participants are usually involved with the program for two or more years.

RCC will be presenting the program this month at the Rehabilitation & Community Providers Association (RCPA) Conference in Hershey.
