Kessa, originally from Landisburg, PA, is a Communications Representative at Central Electric Cooperative. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.

Being a 2021 graduate, Kessa is very thankful to have been hired at Central Electric Cooperative and feels “very lucky to work for such a great organization.” Her goal for the coming years is to complete the Certified Cooperative Communicator program.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog, who just had seven puppies, and being creative with her Cricut.

She is still fairly new to the area, but said that her favorite place to eat is Trails to Ails in Franklin. “It is always my go-to for a night out,” she said. Kessa also enjoys kayaking.

She appreciates her scenic drive to work each day as well as her close-knit work environment and community of Venango County as a whole. She is looking forward to meeting many new people, exploring more local communities and businesses, and trying local food.
