Elizabeth Schmude

Elizabeth is the Owner of Elizabeth Schmude Photography and is from the Cranberry Area. She attended Point Park University where she obtained her BFA in Communications and Photography with a concentration in Commercial Photography. She is originally from the Venango Area and is thankful for all it has provided her throughout her life.

“I’ve been lucky to be apart of many local and regional art exhibits. This has led me to having my work seen and critiqued by museum curators in Pittsburgh such as David Oresick (Mattress Factory), and well known photographers like Ed Panar and Tabitha Soren,” said Elizabeth.

Some of her goals include growing her business into a much bigger studio space. She also would love to begin offering photography lessons and have a gallery space of her own.

In her free time, she acts as a leader of the Cranberry Clovers 4-H Club. She is kept busy with their numerous community activities, but outside of that, she enjoys spending time with her cat Smiley. She also dabbles in gardening and baking.

“I enjoy all Venango County has to offer… there is an event almost every weekend to go to with family. If we’re not at an event, we’re grabbing a bite to eat at a local restaurant and checking out what the local shops have to offer” she said. She is very appreciative for the community here in Venango for their kindness and support of small businesses.

“It is easy to capture this regions beauty when working with clients.”
