With a goal to help save as many Pennsylvania jobs as possible while small businesses await federal funding, the PA 30 Day Fund has made a difference in our own community.
Pennsylvania businesses that qualify for assistance from the fund must:
- Employ three to 30 people (may be part-time or contracted)
- Be based in Pennsylvania and operating for at least one year
- Be owned and operated by a Pennsylvania resident
Funds do not need to be repaid, but those who receive assistance are encouraged to “pay it forward.”
Several Venango Chamber members received the grant, including Jami DeGroat, owner of Casey’s. She remarks: “I’m so thankful for those involved in this fund. While it provided help we needed, it also was a testament to how generous and inspiring people can be.”
Kyla Parkinson, owner of Victorian City Art and Frame, said: “We are settling into many new adjustment and as we bring staff back and add online shopping, the PA 30 Day Fund assisted us in moving forward.”

Funding has come from generous individuals from across the state and country who want to help small businesses. Jeff shared that funds raised locally can be directed to benefit our Venango County businesses. To make a donation, visit www.pa30dayfund.com.
