Tara Lawrence has joined NWIRC as the Coordinator of Project Manufacturing Talent Stream, an initiative supported by a PA Manufacturing Training to Career Grant. She will prioritize and accelerate initiatives designed to connect manufacturers to the regional talent stream.

Tara will be developing a northwest Manufacturing Dream Team; a group of under 30 professionals working in various manufacturing roles, trained, and scheduled for presentations and events at area schools. Her duties also include engaging high school students in Manufacturing Academy programs and middle school students in Manufacturing Passport events across the region.

She will also be organizing manufacturing month (October) activities and serving as a liaison for NWIRC’s involvement with six student run manufacturing enterprises and two Uniquely Abled Academies.
