A Dill-ightful Experience!

Mike Dill State Farm Office

Since 1995, Michael Dill has worked in the insurance business. He started at his brother’s State Farm agency for 2 1/2 years while finishing his bachelor’s degree, then went into State Farm Claims.

For 20 years, Michael was an independent adjuster, until he moved to Franklin in 2013 and took over for a retiring agent. Two years later, his business moved to their current location on Liberty Street, which he said was “the best move we ever made.”

At his office, they offer full service auto, home, life, and health insurance. He has a team of three, including Amanda, Alexa, and Dakota, in which he told us “I get to come into my office every single day and work with people I truly care about.”

The staff work hard each day and Michael describes the interactions with policy holders “incredible.” They are fortunate to have signficant growth over the past six years, and have plans to expand the business with new team members again soon.

Michael has appreciated the people and stories of Venango County. “There is a lot of rich history and tradition throughout the county,” he said. “I appreciate the Oil Heritage, including the heavy industry that was in the area, and just as important, the beautiful landscape of the county.” In his free time, he enjoys hiking the trails, especially in the winter, when the snow makes everything even more beautiful.

In the community, Michael and his business have been involved with various organizations and events. They have teamed up with nonprofits like the Venango County Humane Society, through the “Quotes for GoodTM” program, held food drives, and much more. Michael is also a member of the Franklin Rotary Club and the Allegheny Valley Trails Association (AVTA).

“Making a difference in the lives of my team members, policyholders, and the community is my favorite part of owning my business,” he told us. “If I am doing the right thing, they all benefit much more than I do.”
