Lynne Marshall’s Head-Line Hair opened its doors on May 17, 1994.
Owner Lynne Marshall attributes their success to an amazingly talented, kind, and dedicated staff. Their mantra has always been, “to provide superior quality cosmetology services with an attitude of complete professionalism, attention to detail, and unparalleled client comfort and service.”
Head-Line Hair started as a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon in a small space on Route 322 in Cranberry. Through the years, they have become a full-service salon offering cuts, colors, perms, keratin conditioning, relaxers and extensions. They also offer complete nail services, facials, makeup, waxing and lash extensions as well as offering spa days in conjunction with Peaces for You Massage Therapy.
Now located at 1047 Allegheny Avenue, they share business talents with neighbors in the building that include Peaces for You Massage Therapy and Eckert Chiropractic. This makes for a wonderful complimentary environment.
Many staff members have a long history with Head-Line Hair. Tracey Mohnkern has been the Manager for the entire 30 years. Both Jamie Duarte and Pam Shefchunas have been there for 20 years and Katelyn Horter has been there for 10 years.
The business has spent years supporting many community groups such as Newcomer’s Club, Christian Women’s Club, The Fighter’s Ball, Relay for Life, Susan G. Komen, Venango 4H, Venango Museum, Venango Catholic Schools, as well as other local schools, churches, and fire departments.
Over the years, Head-Line Hair has hosted a number of events including: Glamour Shots, makeover events, Antique Portraits, Ladies’ Night Out, Chamber mixers and several cut-a-thons. They have helped many friends and clients in need with fundraising events.
Lynne is happy to say that she has worked with many talented stylists throughout the years and hopes they are as happy to say they worked at the salon as she is to have been their employer.
