Leadership Venango is a nine-month program designed to identify, educate, involve and motivate individuals who desire to become more effective leaders. The program engages citizens from a broad range of geographical, institutional and economic backgrounds, with the goal to ensure that new leadership will continuously be added to the community.

Class of 2025
Joseph Brooker is the Chief Operating Officer at Brooker Kidney Care. He attended Clarion University for his bachelor’s degree in biology before going on to earn both a master’s degree and MBA. Joseph is also a member of FLEX and serves on the leadership team as the Development Chair.
Shawn DeLong is an Apprenticeship Coordinator at Keystone Community Education Council (KCEC), where he is responsible for on-the-training data collection for apprenticeships. Shawn also serves as a member of the Oil City Blue and White Booster Club and as President of the Cranberry Wrestling Booster Club.
Meghan Dunham is the Executive Director of Community Services of Venango County. She started at Community Services in 2006 and was made Executive Director in 2022. Meghan’s volunteer efforts include local school events, Friends for Food, Spirit of Giving, and the Oil Heritage Festival Children’s Fun Fair.
Jeff Fontaine is the Logistics Coordinator for the Dry Van Division at Klapec Trucking Company. Jeff still holds his Commercial Driver License (CDL) and has over 1 million miles of safe driving. Outside of work, Jeff has volunteered for holiday food deliveries and adopt a highway trash cleanups.
Eric Funk is the Community Development Coordinator for the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation where he oversees the newly created Clarion County Regional Main Street Program. Eric also serves on the Clarion Chamber board, and with the Clarion Area Young Professionals group.
Daidre Green is the Youth Services Assistant for the Oil Region Library Association (ORLA) where she serves many roles but focuses on programming for teens. She has created and hosted multiple programs for ORLA patrons. Along with her family, Daidre volunteers for Jamie’s Kids, wrapping holiday gifts.
Juliet Hilburn is the Annual Giving Officer for the Northwest Hospital Foundation where she is responsible for coordinating annual giving programs and supporting outreach efforts. Juliet is the Membership Chair for FLEX, as well as a member of the Oil City-Franklin Zonta Club, and the Oil City Rotary Club.
Kahlea Kahle is the Practice Coordinator for UPMC’s Franklin Surgical Associates and Northwest Pulmonology where she oversees day-to-day operations of the practice. Kahlea also volunteers as a committee member for Western PA Pullin’ 4 a Purpose, a local non-profit.
Jesse Kelley is the CEO of the Scenic Rivers YMCA, which includes the Oil City and Clarion Y’s, and Camp Coffman. He has been employed with the Y for 13 years, taking over as CEO in 2023. Jesse is also a member of the Clarion Rotary Club, PTO President for his child’s school, and serves as a Lector for his church.
Mitch Littler is the Student Services Advisor at Keystone Community Education Council where he uses his experience to help connect students with opportunities. As a musician, Mitch has delivered over 400 performances across NWPA through his street performance initiative, Operation Good Vibes.
Don Millar is an Agent with New York Life. He has an associate’s degree from Clarion University and is also qualified in Railway Signal Systems. Outside of work, Don volunteers with the EAA and Vintage Wings at the Venango Regional Airport, and with the Oil Creek & Titusville Railway.
Kara O’Neil is a reporter for The Derrick where she is responsible for telling a variety of community stories. She covers economic development, local history, elections, court, Oil City, including city council and Oil City Area School District, and more! Kara also volunteers with her church and for the Venango County Historical Society.
Jesse Seymour is the Associate Pastor at Oil City Vineyard Church, where he also leads the Youth Ministry. He has a degree in Electronic Media from Ohio University. Jesse also serves as a member of the Oil City Ministerium and as an assistant softball coach for Cranberry Little League.
Jessica Struthers is the CEO of Saint Elizabeth Center, a local social service agency that has a food pantry and thrift store. Jessica is also involved as a member of the Oil City Library Advisory Council, vice chair of the Oil Region Library Association board, and chair of the Reno Neighborhood Association.
Erin VanWormer is the Human Resources Business Partner and Payroll Administrator at Webco Industries. She has a bachelor’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations from Penn State University. Erin serves on the board for the Venango County United Way and as President for the Venango County HR Group.
Kylee Williams is the Senior Manager of Accounts and Programs at Matric Group. With nearly 14 years of experience in sales and customer service, she now oversees nine managers across tow locations, managing a portfolio of over 250 customer accounts. Kylee is also a proud mother of three.
Steven Wimer is the Shift Business Manager for the B-Shift at Webco Industries where he is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling, and production. Steven has completed many management training courses through Webco and values their commitment to professional development.
