What a way to start the day, and in fact the year! UPMC Northwest invited representatives from businesses, non-profits and the community at large to a breakfast this morning to kick off the Dignity and Respect Campaign in our region. The premise seems simple enough but Candi Castleberry-Singleton, the inclusion and diversity officer for UPMC in Pittsburgh presented an eloquent explanation of the benefits of engaging the community in pledging to treat everyone with dignity and respect.
