Local VTC Students Compete at SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. A nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA works with students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. Our local Venango Technology Center (VTC) has been equipping students for many years with practical skills to be successful in the workforce. We’re excited to congratulate all the VTC competitors and medalists from the recent Skills USA – District 10 Competition.

These Gold Medal winners will be advancing to the Skills USA – PA State Competition: Architectural Drafting – Emma Stahl, Cabinetmaking – Aaron Crosmun, CNC Lathe – Douglas Luthar, Crime Scene Investigation – Bre Terwilliger, Nicole Earnhardt, Nickayla Petro, Criminal Justice – Cameron King, Restaurant Service – Johna Hall, Welding – Alex Tafoya, Welding Fabrication – Cam Crocker, Dillion Morrison, and Mason Brown (pictured left).

Also advancing: Lillian Hargenrader, Lauren Caralla, Abriana Foley, Gabrielle LaJeunesse, Paige Roess, Connor Snyder, and Andi Coast.

Congratulations to these students and all the other medalists and competitors!
