Central Electric Cooperative Offers Good Neighbor Scholarship
Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) would like to welcome students to apply for the 2024 Good Neighbor Scholarship. This program will award 10 scholarships of $2,500 to members (or their children) to further their education at a college or trade school.
The scholarship is open to: high school seniors, current college and trade school students, and adults furthering their education. Applicants must be enrolled in a post secondary educational institution, complete all application requirements, and submit a 500-word essay.
Recipients are chosen based on voluntary, non-paid service to community, school and/or church. Visit central.coop for more information or to apply.
Calling All Employers! VenangoREADY Event February 29
The Venango Chamber invites you to join us for our third annual VenangoREADY Educator Event on Thursday, February 29 at PEPRO in Oil City.
A key objective of our VenangoREADY program is to facilitate connections between educators and employers, providing students with valuable career experiences and job insights as they prepare for their futures and transition into the workforce. Our aim is for teachers and school staff to gain insights into the diverse career opportunities available in the Venango Area.
All educators from A-C Valley, Christian Life Academy, Cranberry, Forest, Franklin, Oil City, Titusville, Valley Grove, Venango Catholic, and Venango Technology Center are invited to attend.
