Chamber Staff Attend PACP Conference

Venango Chamber Staff, Ashley, Susan, and Kat, recently attended the Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals (PACP), the largest network of chamber professionals in the state. This year’s conference was held at the Bedford Springs Resort and included two and a half days of professional development workshops, along with plenty of time for networking. Of those in attendance, the most tenured had been in the industry for 38 years, the newest for just two weeks.

Chamber President, Susan Williams, emphasizes the value of staying engaged with PACP throughout the year and highlights the benefits of attending. “The colleagues I have met over the last 19 years have provided me with a network of support and encouragement. It has been important to provide our staff with opportunities to grow professionally and there is no better resource than PACP,” Susan said.

“The conference is an affordable and efficient time to connect and learn, but the relationship continues throughout the year. We bring back so many ideas and tools, that are reflected in what we offer to members and the community.”

Planning is already underway for next year’s conference, which will be held in October 2024, in Lancaster.
