Pomegranate Publishing has made a 2022 Art Calendar featuring 12 of CJ Hurley’s paintings. The calendar is titled “The Lure of The Land” and showcases the world that CJ paints rich in natural color and texture.

While many of his artworks show the interwoven relationship between natural and built environments, his landscapes, in particular, aim to portray the raw, unrefined environments he so admires. With the 12 scenes in this calendar—from a waterfall among the evergreens to a cliffside house in the mountains—CJ bears witness to the lure of the land.

Calendars and puzzles from CJ’s art can be purchased at his studio in the National Transit Building at an Open Studio on December 18 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., or by appointment. They can also be purchased in many online book and gift shops or at pomegranate.com/collections/cj-hurley.
