Each year, the family at Northpointe Automotive adopts a family from the Venango County Community Services. Their goal is to collect enough money from the employees to be able to purchase everything on the list for each member of the family.
Northpointe employees try to focus on a one-parent family with two or more children, with the children being their main focus. With any leftover monies collected, they focus on a food basket, which includes everything for a Christmas Dinner and gift cards to Walmart, so they will be able to either buy items needed or groceries if necessary.
Each year, the thank you card or letter from the family that was helped expresses the sense of gratitude and appreciation and leaves a great feeling in the hearts of those who contributed. Holly Galmish, who assists in coordinating the giving campaign shares “We are very blessed with a great family here at Northpointe and are very happy that we can continue year after year to help area families in need. “
