Chapter 13 – Don’t Take Responsibility: To ensure failure, surround yourself with people who always blame others for every mistake and challenge. Positive, enterprising individuals see opportunities where others see voids—they see chances to make money, learn new skills, or tackle new challenges. Conversely, negative individuals view challenges as insurmountable obstacles and are quick to shift responsibility to someone else. To destroy a community, make sure no one takes responsibility for any problems. Convince everyone that any issue is someone else’s fault and responsibility, so they feel no obligation to fix anything. This way, the community can decline with a clear conscience. Remember, you control only yourself, which means the responsibility to improve your community lies with you. No one else can do it for you.
