Venango and Clarion County Library Catalogs Merge

The Oil Region Library Association (ORLA) is excited to announce the official merger of the Clarion and Venango Library catalogs! This exciting development means that library patrons in Venango County can now use their library cards at any Clarion County library, including the Clarion Free Library, Eccles-Lesher Memorial Library, Foxburg Free Library, Knox Public Library and Redbank Valley Public Library.

This merger significantly expands access to resources across both counties. Venango County patrons will now be able to place holds on items from Clarion County libraries and have them sent directly to their home library in Venango County for convenient pick-up. This will provide more options for books, movies and other materials, helping to meet the diverse needs of our community.

As with any major transition, there may be a few hiccups along the way and ORLA appreciates your patience as they work through the process. Rest assured, they are committed to making this a smooth and beneficial change for everyone. ORLA would like to thank their patrons for their understanding and support during this exciting time and look forward to continuing to serve patrons with an even greater range of resources.
