The Venango County Association for the Blind (VCAB) celebrates their Executive Director Krysta Carson’s 10 year anniversary this month.

Krysta began work at the VCAB in 2014 as the Administrative Assistant. During this time, she put countless hours into upgrading and streamlining many of the important operations that keep the agency running, allowing them to increase efficiency and allotting more time to providing direct services to clients.

In 2018, Krysta was promoted to Executive Director. Since then, she has been able to utilize her experience and well-rounded knowledge base to become an incredible director.

Krysta not only enhances the agency programming but is dedicated to being an exemplary leader to the staff at VCAB. She demonstrates compassion, enthusiasm, and commitment while providing guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support in professional growth. The staff at VCAB would like to say a big thank you to Krysta Carson for her decade of commitment and excellence at the agency. Congratulations Krysta!
