Venango Museum Reopening for Season

The Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry reopens for the 2024 season on April 2. A new, limited-time exhibit called Oil Fields to Outfields: Baseball in the Oil Region will be on display. The new exhibit highlights some of the many players, teams, and games throughout the region’s history in connection to the industrial past.

The Museum’s regular operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors (62+), $5 for students 18 and under, FREE for children 5 and under, and FREE for Museum Members.

The museum now has a new, larger sign on the back of the building facing Oil Creek to help increase visibility to traffic on the bypass. This project was done with funding through Take Pride in Oil City.

For more information, visit venangomuseum.org or call the Museum at (814) 676-2007.
