Amanda Barker is the Branch Manager in both Franklin and Cooperstown for the Oil Region Library Association. She has a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Technology and a Bachelor’s in History both from PennWest Clarion.
Some of her achievements include successfully navigating her library branch through the pandemic with help from her coworkers, being nominated for Young Professional of the Year in 2021, and getting her Master’s degree. Her future goals include establishing the library as a community center and gaining fluency in German.
Amanda enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, video games, watching horror movies, and attending live events in the park. She also likes being able to connect with other people that are close to her age even though she hasn’t lived in the region her whole life.
