Corrina Woods has recently rejoined Youth Alternatives Inc. as Executive Director.

After serving 11 years, Corrina took a step back and joined the Oil City Area School District team as the Administrative Assistant at Seventh Street Elementary School for the past year. While she enjoyed the position and met valuable co-workers, students, and experienced great leadership, she missed the one-on-one opportunities with youth.

“I gained a lot of insight and realized there is a deep need for students on the south side of Oil City to have access to an afterschool program. One that provides homework assistance, and STEAM activities all implemented by positive peer mentors, “Corrina reflects.

“I am pleased to be back working more directly with the students. I have always felt that all children deserve the same opportunities!”
