Updating the Job Shadow Guide – Will Your Business Be Included?

In 2019, a project group from the Venango Leadership Class developed a Job Shadow Guide, intended for distribution among local schools. This valuable guide serves as a resource for establishing meaningful connections between students and businesses, also aligning with the vision of the VenangoREADY program. Recognizing the significance of job shadow experiences and career exploration, the guide includes pledge forms for businesses and students, provides insightful tips and statistics, questions to ask for a more meaning experience, and a directory of various industries present in the Venango area and business contacts for those willing to provide a job shadow.

As we continue to champion this initiative through the Venango Chamber and VenangoREADY, we acknowledge the need to update and expand the guide. We are aware that contact information has evolved, and there are numerous additional businesses to be included. However, we rely on you, our members, to share these crucial details with us.

To review the existing document and contribute to the updated Job Shadow Guide, please visit our website and complete the form via the link on that page: venangochamber.org/job-shadow-guide
