Oil Country Bluegrass Festival Returns

After a two-year hiatus as a result of COVID, Venango CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Oil City Arts Council are pleased to announce the return of the very popular Oil Country Bluegrass Festival.

Now in its 14th year, the one-day event will be held on Saturday, February 25, at the Oil City Moose Club #78, located at 541 Halyday Run Road in Oil City. The doors will open at 11:00 a.m., with the first performance beginning at noon. At least 10 bluegrass bands will be performing, and the festival is expected to conclude at 10:30 p.m.

In addition to fine performances, the event will offer two 50/50 raffles; guitar, mandolin and banjo raffles; basket raffles; food onsite; and a cash bar. Bluegrass bands requesting stage times may contact Ron Shoup by phone at (814) 676-3465 or by e-mail at rshoup@csonline.net.
