United Way Hires Levi Chalot as Marketing Strategist

United Way of Venango County and a partnership of ten local nonprofits have combined efforts to evolve their communications capabilities through improved marketing tactics, hiring a Marketing Strategist who will work with each non-profit.

The new Marketing Strategist is responsible for supporting the ten non-profits’ missions and expanding their outreach through the execution of various creative and innovative marketing strategies. This is a unique position offered through United Way to benefit nonprofits in Venango County who are not able to financially support a marketing position alone.

The partnership includes: CASA of Venango County, Community Services of Venango County, Innovation Institute for Tomorrow, Keystone SMILES, Sugar Valley Lodge, The Pointe, Venango County Association of the Blind, Venango Training & Development, and Youth Alternatives.

Through this collaborative investment strategy, United Way is excited to bring together local organizations to help vulnerable populations.

United Way Executive Director, Will Price, said: “We’re all responsible for creating a better community, and we all see the major value in marketing, but sometimes struggle to do marketing alone, since the cost is so expensive.”

Levi Chalot, of Franklin, was hired to take on the role of the Marketing Specialist. He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College, with degrees in Graphic Design and Computer Programming. He has worked as a designer and marketer for the last 5 years, working with small to large businesses on projects from advertising, branding, web development, video, and more. Levi will regularly dedicate time to each organization, to review and evolve marketing plans, strategies, and analytics.
