Klapec Trucking Company (KTC) was the recipient of the prestigious 2021 Fleet Safety President’s Award on May 20, at the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association’s (PMTA) Annual Conference Fleet Safety Awards banquet.
This coveted award is presented once a year to the motor carrier fleet that meets and exceeds the stringent safety criteria established by the PMTA for reportable and non-reportable accidents based on miles traveled. By being the recipient of this award, KTC has been named, and is considered, the safest motor carrier fleet throughout the entire state of Pennsylvania.
Along with the President’s Award, KTC also earned First Place in the General Commodities Truck Load Division as well as First Place in the Flat-Bed Truck Load Division from PMTA. KTC also received Great West Casualty Company National Safety Awards Platinum Award for Outstanding Achievement in Highway Safety. This marks the 14th consecutive year KTC has earned gold and platinum awards for safety excellence.
“All of these achievements have been earned by our outstanding, hardworking team of drivers, shop technicians and office staff putting their best foot forward every single day. We are so proud of our excellent team,” says Cindy Urban, KTC President.
