Venango 4-H held its annual 4-H Leadership Banquet to recognize 4-H volunteers and teens for the hard work and dedication that they put in to supporting area youth all year. 4-H youth, parents, and volunteers nominated and voted on Outstanding 4-H Male and Female Volunteers. They selected Becky Metz and Gary Schick as the 2024 Outstanding Volunteers. Becky and Gary will receive a 4-H clover plate and be sent to a training of their choice to help them become better leaders.
Congratulations to Becky and Gary!
In addition to the outstanding volunteers, 4-H Court members were announced. The top three male and female 4-H senior members (ages 15-18) are recognized on 4-H Court.
This year, Kord Stewart is the 4-H King, Avery Metz is 4-H Queen, Karter Hoffman and Kaylee Baker are first runners up, and Justin Weyand and Raelynn Montgomery are second runners up. They each received chairs for their spots, and the Queen and King will receive a trip to Atlanta, GA for National 4-H Congress next November.
Congratulations to the 2024 4-H Court!
