The Olive Vault Begins a New Chapter with Local Owners

The Olive Vault in downtown Franklin has new ownership—but the faces behind it are far from new. Longtime customers Candi and Kipp Walton recently became the proud owners, continuing the flavorful legacy started by founders Tammy and David Bible in 2019.

Candi, originally from Greensburg, moved to Franklin in 2009 to work at Polk Center. Kipp, a Seneca native, spent much of his career at Polk Center as well, most recently in the Vocational Department. The couple met at work, married in Fountain Park in 2014, and now live downtown in a historic home, just a short walk to the store.

When Polk Center’s closure was announced, the Waltons began imagining their next chapter. Inspired by their love for The Olive Vault, they embraced the opportunity to become small business owners. Their adult children and young grandchildren are pitching in and sharing in the excitement.

Customers can expect the same high-quality oils, vinegars, and gourmet products, with new developments on the first floor coming soon. Candi’s favorites include Lemongrass Basil Olive Oil and Apple Pie White Balsamic Vinegar (just not together), while Kipp prefers Fresh Garlic Olive Oil and other bold, spicy selections.

As they settle into their new roles, the Waltons look forward to continuing The Olive Vault’s tradition of unique flavor and friendly service.

Congratulations to Kip and Candi!
